Our purpose-built training facilities in Brisbane provide a range of nationally accredited courses for operators of butt and electrofusion welding equipment in mining, gas, civil engineering and plumbing. Each successful student will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment. Units of competency include PMBWELD301B and PMBWELD302B covering butt and electrofusion welding. Courses last three days and with small class sizes of between five and 10 students, the emphasis is on hands-on learning. A range of machines is available, including the 315mm Bulldog which provides a fantastic learning platform for manual butt welding techniques. The QBox and SBox Lite electrofusion welders showcase sophisticated features and ensure candidates enter the industry confident they have the most up-to-date knowledge of joint data and QA record-keeping. These features add up to most in-depth electrofusion courses available, ensuring course graduates are fully conversant with both the practice and theory of this fast developing method of polyethylene pipe jointing.
